The Habitat ReStore is a home improvement resale store where we accept new and used items such as lumber, doors, windows, appliances, and other household items and re-sell them to the public to help raise funds for building Habitat homes in our community. We opened our ReStore in July 2004, and it's become a very important part of our organization. The Habitat ReStore offers people an opportunity to recycle things they might otherwise throw away. We calculated that our ReStore has diverted nearly 212.87 tons of items, which would have found their way to landfills, since we opened in 2004!
